Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard courts
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev won his first trophy for over two years with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament title decider.
The athlete, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult year, managing just one win at the big events and undergoing a setback at the American major.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his serve in specific - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually separating with former trainer Cervara.
Currently collaborating with his coach and his other coach, he has consistently progressed in the recent weeks - culminating in a tightly fought three-set victory over opponent Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's first championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface since that period of the previous year.
The win also signifies he has secured twenty-one victories at twenty-one different events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a event with my children together, so to secure a trophy is especially meaningful," commented tennis professional Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I achieved when my child Alisa was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six championship matches, comprising in that event earlier this year.
His retrieving approach and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had led some to doubt if his capacity to perform at the top level was concluded.
However the player has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and play aggressively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
Medvedev recovered from a disadvantage in the first set against the tricky Moutet, taking four of the last five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The pair swapped break points in the second set before Moutet, bidding for his initial tour championship, took control to create a decider.
He saved 4 initial chances in a tight final set before the champion won the break to 15 to close out the victory.
Fittingly, the winner clinched victory with a point at the net area, with Moutet unable to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
